The Vega (v2.0) Branch & Version Management drawer contains the tools for managing branches or versions. From this drawer, Creators can create, view, merge, publish, or delete branches and application versions.
The Branch & Version Management drawer is only available for versioned applications. Learn more in our Introduction to Application Versioning article.
Accessing the Branch & Version Management Drawer
Creators can access the Branch & Version Management drawer from the application or Module Builder page by clicking on the
Branch button.

Understanding the Branch & Version Management Drawer
The Branch & Version Management drawer displays the current branch and version, and all existing branches and versions of an application. It also enables Creators to manage branches or versions.

The following settings and features are available in this drawer:

1 | Active Branch | Displays the current branch that the Creator is accessing. | |
2 | Search | Enter a value to filter the Branch or Publish Versions tab list. Accepts partial or incomplete values. | |
3 | Branches tab | Displays all the branches of a versioned application. The first branch is created while enabling application versioning. | |
4 | ↳ | CURRENT label | The CURRENT branch. You can even view a published version, but not edit it. |
5 | Open | Opens the selected branch or version on the current page. | |
6 | Merge | Opens the Merge Settings page. | |
7 | Delete this Branch | Opens the branch delete modal for the active branch. Click Yes, Delete to permanently delete the branch.

8 | Create New Branch | Opens the Create New Branch modal.

9 | Publish | Opens the Publish modal for the active branch. | |
10 | Published Versions Tab | Displays the current and previously published versions of the application. | |
↳ | CURRENT label | The current version that actively displays in the application or Module Builder. This label replaces the BASE label when viewing the currently published version. | |
BASE label | Identifies the published version serving as the base version for the application. | ||
