Opening a workspace from the Workspaces Page opens it as a tab in the platform. The workspace tab is the starting point for navigating to applications and modules, accessing workspace utilities, and managing workspace settings.
Accessing a Workspace
To open a workspace, select its row in the Workspaces Page table. Alternatively, use the workspace switcher in the navigation bar to choose from the workspace list.
Workspace Tab
When a workspace is open and no application is selected, the center canvas displays the workspace empty state. The empty state displays the workspace name, a + Create Application button, and a Build Agent help prompt.
Selecting + Create Application opens the Creating Applications form.
Creators can also create an application from the Explorer panel: hover over the Applications folder to reveal the (ellipsis), then select + Create Application.
Explorer Panel
The Explorer panel on the right side of the platform displays the contents of the workspace. Hover over the workspace name in the Explorer to reveal the (ellipsis) with the following workspace-level options:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Copies a direct link to the workspace. | |
| Opens the permissions settings for the workspace. | |
| Opens Workspace Settings — update the workspace name, description, and tags. | |
| Stars the workspace for quick access. | |
| Permanently deletes the workspace after confirmation. |
For a full reference of the Explorer panel, including the Applications, Utilities, Library Elements, and Bookmarks sections, see Explorer.
