Express User Administration

To access Express User Administration, navigate to Administration > Express Permissions > Express User Administration.

The Express User Administration page is where administrators manage the end-users who access Creator-built applications. Use it to add, search, export, and manage end-user accounts and their role assignments.

Managing Express users requires administrative permissions. Administrators needing access should contact their environment administrator.

User List

The user list displays all Express users in the environment. Use the search bar to filter by any of the following: email, name, phone, role, or user ID.

Adding an Express User

Click Add User to open the form. Complete the end-user's information and click Create User to save the account.

Each email address can only be used once in the environment, across both Creator and Express user accounts. If the email is already in use by either account type, the new account cannot be created.

Editing an Express User

Click Edit on any row to open the end-user account form. Unlike Creator accounts, all fields can be changed after the account is created, including the email address.

Uploading Users

Express users can be created in bulk by uploading a CSV file.

1. Click Choose File and choose a CSV file containing the end-users to import.

2. To notify end-users by email with a temporary password, leave Notify the Users by E-mail of the temporary password checked. This setting is enabled by default.

3. Click Process User File (and Notify) to import the users and send notifications, or Process User File if notifications are disabled.

Troubleshooting

Error: "This user cannot be created because it would conflict with an existing user"

This error occurs when an account already exists in the environment with the same email address as the one being created. The conflict can happen when:

• An end-user previously authenticated through SSO and a partial or inactive account was created automatically during that session.

• An account exists in a state that prevents a new account from being created with the same email.

To resolve this: Contact Unqork support and provide the email address causing the conflict. Support can identify and remove the conflicting account so the new user can be created.
