Express User Administration

To access Express User Administration, navigate to Administration > Express Permissions > Express User Administration.

The Express User Administration page is where administrators manage the end-users who access Creator-built applications. Use it to add, search, export, and manage end-user accounts and their role assignments.

Important: Managing Express users requires administrative permissions. Administrators needing access should contact their environment administrator.


User List

The user list displays all Express users in the environment. Use the search bar to filter by any of the following: email, name, phone, role, or user ID.

Each row displays the following:

Column

Description

User ID

The end-user's unique identifier.

Name

The end-user's display name.

Email

The end-user's email address.

Phone

The end-user's phone number, if provided.

Roles

The Express roles assigned to this end-user.

Created

The date the end-user account was created.

Password Status

The current state of the end-user's password. Displays Confirmed when the end-user has set their own password, or Temporary when a login link has been sent but not yet used.

Add User

Opens a form to create a new Express user account.

Export All Express Users

Downloads a  file of all Express user accounts in the environment.

Account Actions

Click the actions menu on any row to access the following:

Edit

Opens the end-user account form to update details or role assignments.

Delete

Permanently removes the end-user account. This action cannot be undone.

Resend

Sends a new login link to the end-user's email address.

Convert to Creator Administrator

Converts the end-user account to a Creator account with administrator-level permissions.


Uploading Users

Express users can be created in bulk by uploading a CSV file.

  1. Click Choose File and choose a CSV file containing the end-users to import.

  2. To notify end-users by email with a temporary password, leave Notify the Users by E-mail of the temporary password checked. This setting is enabled by default.

  3. Click Process User File (and Notify) to import the users and send notifications, or Process User File if notifications are disabled.
