The Application Promotions dialog lets Creators promote an application and its associated dependencies to a target environment. Creators use it to select a destination environment, choose which modules, Data Models, Queries, and Data Collections to include in the promotion, and review the application's promotion history.
To open Application Promotions, select the 
(ellipsis) next to an application in the Explorer panel and select 
Promotions.
Dialog Fields
Field | Description |

Destination Environment | Required. The target environment for the promotion. The list is populated from the available promotion hosts configured for the environment. |
Version to Promote | Version-enabled applications only. The published version to promote. Versioned applications promote a whole version and its pinned dependencies. Dependency sections are not displayed. |
Promotion History | Collapsed by default. Expand to view a record of past promotions. Use Promoted Out and Promoted In to toggle between outgoing and incoming promotions. Each entry displays the environment, version (versioned applications), date, initiating Creator, and status (non-versioned applications). |
Workflows & Modules to Promote | Non-versioned applications only. Modules and workflows connected to the application. The application's entrypoint module is marked Required and stays selected — it always promotes with the application, so Select None cannot clear it. An entrypoint workflow is selected by default but can be cleared, provided the destination environment already has a workflow from an earlier promotion. Modules that belong to another application — and shared modules not connected to this one — are listed without a checkbox: the dependency stays visible, but it never promotes with this application. Promote the owning application separately. Unresolved modules are listed the same way. |
Data Models & Associated Elements to Promote | Non-versioned applications only. Data Models from the application's workspace. Selecting a Data Model automatically includes its associated schemas and modules. Visible only when the data models feature is enabled. |
Queries to Promote | Non-versioned applications only. Query Builder queries associated with the workspace. Selecting a query automatically includes its dependencies. Visible only when the search service feature is enabled. |
Data Collections to Promote | Non-versioned applications only. Record Collections associated with the application. |

Use Select All or Select None in any dependency section to bulk-select or clear items. Rows without a checkbox are never included, so Select All cannot add them.
Promoting an Application
To promote an application:
From the Destination Environment drop-down, select the target environment.
For version-enabled applications, from the Version to Promote drop-down, select the published version.
For non-versioned applications, in each dependency section, select the items to include.
Select Promote App (or Promote Version for version-enabled applications).
In the confirmation dialog, confirm the promotion.
A confirmation message displays when the promotion is initiated. Creators must have promote permissions to use this feature. When promote permissions are not assigned, the Promote App button is disabled.
