The Transforms panel lets Creators create and manage data transform templates for a workflow. Transforms reshape the data flowing into or out of a workflow before it reaches other systems or components. To open the panel, in the Workflow Builder toolbar, click Definition and select Transforms.
Transforms List
The left side of the panel lists all transforms defined for this workflow.

Creates a new transform and opens its detail form on the right. |
| Details | Expands the detail form for that transform on the right. Select again to collapse. |
Each row displays the transform name and two status badges.
| Badge | Description |
|---|---|
| / | The direction of the transform. Output transforms apply when data leaves the workflow. Input transforms apply when data enters the workflow. |
| Type badge | The template format used by the transform. See Type of Transform for all options. |
When no transform is selected, the right side displays an empty state. Select Create Transform to create a new transform and open the detail form.
Transform Details
Selecting Details on a transform opens its configuration form on the right.

Permanently deletes the transform. This action cannot be undone. |
Transform Fields
| Setting | Description |

| Transform Name | The name for this transform. Required. |
| Direction of Transform | Read-only. Indicates whether this transform applies to Input (data entering the workflow) or Output (data leaving the workflow). Set when the transform is created. |
| Type of Transform | The template format. Options: NJK (JSON), XSL (XML), NJK (PDF), NJK (XML), or NJK (TXT). NJK types use Nunjucks templates; XSL uses XSLT. The parenthetical indicates the output format. |
| Transform | The transform template expression, entered in a code editor. Required. An info callout links to the XSL and NJK formatting guides. |
