# Adding and Removing Snippets in Your Module

## Overview

This article teaches you how to add and remove snippets in Module Builder.

## Adding the Snippet to Your Module

After you install the snippet to your environment, you can drag and drop the snippet into your module:

1. In the left sidebar of the Module Builder, click the **Snippet****s** button.
2. In the search bar, enter the name of the snippet.
3. Drag and drop the snippet onto your canvas.

> If you don't see the snippet at first, make sure to expand the **Marketplace Snippets** section.
4. **Save** your module.

## Removing the Snippet from Your Module

Snippets are contained within a Panel component. When you drop a snippet into you module, you're adding a Panel component filled with configuration. Because of that, it makes it easy to remove snippets.

To remove the whole snippet from your module:

1. In the Module Builder, hover over the snippet's parent Panel component.

A 5-button toolbar displays above the component on hover-over.
2. 3. **Save** your module.
