# 7.8.1 Platform Patch Release Notes

## Overview

**Version**: 7.8.1

**Patch Release Date**: June 24, 2024

- [2024 Release Calendar](/v1/docs/2024-release-calendar)
- [Unqork Release Notes Process](/v1/docs/unqork-release-notes-process)
- [Software Development Life Cycle Processes](/v1/docs/software-development-life-cycle-processes)

## Components

**Fixes**

- [**Email component**](/v1/docs/email-component): Fixed an issue where the Email component would not successfully save after configuring it and saving the module. An error would display in the DevTools Console confirming it did not save. This patch ensures new and updated Email component configuration saves successfully.

The DevTools Console helps you securely store, build, test, and deploy your software.
