# 3.1.8 UDLC Platform Release Notes

**Release Date**: Feb 27, 2026

## Release Management Dashboard Tool

### Fixes

- [**Promotions**](/v1/docs/release-management-dashboard-tool): With the introduction of the [3.1.7 UDLC release](/v1/docs/317-udlc-platform-release-notes), Unqork introduced an overly restrictive permission check that allows only Designer Administration users to promote. We've addressed this issue, so any Designer role with the correct permissions in [Creator Role Administration](/v1/docs/creator-role-administration) can perform a promotion. It’s important to note that Express roles cannot perform promotions.
