Creators use this guide to look up a setting that several nodes share or to find which nodes offer a setting. For output link settings, see [Output Links](/unqorkai/docs/output-links). ## Node Actions ### Universal Actions Selecting a node on the canvas opens its settings in the Properties panel and displays action buttons above the node. The following actions are available on every node: | Action | Description | | --- | --- | | ![Pencil](https://cdn.us.document360.io/15548f06-2fba-434c-b0c1-5df88317dbd7/Images/Documentation/api_upload_20261020_142329_1dd75586f1b142ae811f26e58268042e.svg?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-08T10%3A25%3A49Z&se=2026-11-08T11%3A25%3A49Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=XWExovUN25cd6zDd5Nl6mHGjF5GUuJkdJsmwTobCOwM%3D) **Edit** | Opens the node's settings in the Properties panel. | | ![Trash2](https://cdn.us.document360.io/15548f06-2fba-434c-b0c1-5df88317dbd7/Images/Documentation/api_upload_20261020_142329_a025e579b8ef441a9f88fac260e1d27b.svg?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-08T10%3A25%3A49Z&se=2026-11-08T11%3A25%3A49Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=XWExovUN25cd6zDd5Nl6mHGjF5GUuJkdJsmwTobCOwM%3D) **Delete** | Removes the node from the canvas (). | ### Task Node The following action displays only when the Task node has a module connected: | Action | Description | | --- | --- | | ![ArrowUpRight](https://cdn.us.document360.io/15548f06-2fba-434c-b0c1-5df88317dbd7/Images/Documentation/api_upload_20261020_142329_263021e8a9414d2da12990a5a4c20a13.svg?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-08T10%3A25%3A49Z&se=2026-11-08T11%3A25%3A49Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=XWExovUN25cd6zDd5Nl6mHGjF5GUuJkdJsmwTobCOwM%3D) **Open module** | Opens the connected module in the Module Builder. | ### Timer Start Node and Signal Start Node The following actions display on Timer Start and Signal Start nodes only. Stop the node to edit its settings. ## Settings Reference ### Label Available on all nodes. | Setting | Field | Type | Description | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Label | `label` | Text input | A display name for the node on the canvas. | ### Path Available on the Start, Task, Timer, Timer Start, and Signal Start nodes. | Setting | Field | Type | Description | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Path | `nodeId` | Text input | The unique identifier the platform generates for the node. This value is preset and not editable. | ### Scheduling Available on the Timer and Timer Start nodes. | Setting | Field | Type | Default | Description | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Type | `timerType` | Radio button | **Relative** | The scheduling mode to use. Options include: **Relative**, **Exact**, or **Cron**. | **Relative** (default): Fires after a set amount of time. | Setting | Field | Type | Default | Description | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Time Amount | `timeAmount` | Number input | — | The duration to wait. | | Time Unit | `timeUnit` | Drop-down | **Minutes** | The unit of time. Options include: **Minutes**, **Hours**, **Days**, **Weeks**, **Months**, or **Years**. | **Exact**: Fires at a specific scheduled time. All times are in UTC. How often to fire. Options include: **Daily**, **Weekly**, **Monthly**, or **Yearly**., children: [ { field: "Day of Week", cells: [`dayOfWeek`, "Drop-down", **Monday**], description: <>The day to fire. Options include: **Monday** through **Sunday**. Visible when **Frequency** is **Weekly**. }, { field: "Month", cells: [`monthOfYear`, "Drop-down", **January**], description: <>The month to fire. Visible when **Frequency** is **Yearly**. }, { field: "Day of Month", cells: [`dayOfMonth`, "Drop-down", **1**], description: <>The day of the month to fire, or **Last Day of the Month**. If the selected day doesn't exist in a given month, the timer fires on the last day of that month. Visible when **Frequency** is **Monthly** or **Yearly**. } ] }, { field: "Time", cells: [`time`, "Time input", "—"], description: "The time of day to fire, in UTC." } ]} /> **Cron**: Fires based on a cron expression for advanced scheduling. | Setting | Field | Type | Default | Description | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Cron Expression | `cronExpression` | Text input | — | A valid cron expression defining the schedule (for example, `0 9 * * 1` runs every Monday at 9:00 AM). | ### Error Message Available on the Exclusive Gateway and Inclusive Gateway Split nodes. | Setting | Field | Type | Default | Description | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Error Message | `errorMessage` | Text area | — | The message displayed when no output link condition is met. | ### Timed Event Available on the Timed Event node. | Setting | Field | Type | Default | Description | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Activate when... | `startCondition` | Text input | — | An optional condition expression that must also hold for the event to fire, for example, `status="Pending"`. When empty, the event fires whenever the workflow triggers the host node. | The Timed Event node also includes the following sections: - **Send a Message**: Select **Add a Message** to configure a message the node sends after a set duration. Each message displays as a card with **Edit** and delete options. - **Send workflow to new task after certain duration**: Sets the output link the workflow follows after a set duration. Each Timed Event node supports one of these links. For link settings, see [Output Links](/unqorkai/docs/output-links). ### Triggering Event Available on the Signal Start node. Label Text conveys what the input component is and what information it displays. Enter the purpose of the corresponding component or field. The Number data type accepts integer or floating point values. The number data type does not use quotes around numerical values. Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) is a standard, globally-accepted timezone used to regulate clocks and time around the world. To execute or perform a a task. In the Operations builder, Events fire (execute) one, or multiple Operations. **Cron** is a time-based job scheduler in Unix-like operating systems that allows users to schedule commands or scripts to run automatically at specific times or intervals. These scheduled tasks, called "cron jobs," can be used for routine system maintenance like backups, software updates, or running custom scripts to perform tasks like deleting old files or sending out email notifications. In Unqork an application is a program used to perform specific tasks. An application can be one of two types: workflow or module. End-users, also known as Express Users, are the individuals accessing an application through Express View. In most cases, end-users are the customers using the product.
