The Module Revisions Dashboard tracks all changes to modules in the environment. Use this dashboard to view detailed revision history, compare two modules side by side, star revisions for easy access, and add notes.
For a high-level overview of a single module's history, use the module Save History. For detailed analysis, including component-level edits and side-by-side comparison, use the Module Revisions Dashboard.
Access Requirements
Access to the Module Revisions Dashboard depends on role configuration.
Environment Roles (without WSRBAC): Creator roles can view all data in this tool.
WSRBAC: Creators can view data for modules and workflows inside workspaces where they have access. If data is missing, the Creator might not have access to the workspace containing that module.
Dashboard Filters
The dashboard displays all module revisions in the environment. Module ID is required; all other filters are optional. After setting filters, click Apply Filters to view results. Click Reset Filters to clear all fields.

Save Type | Filters revisions by type. Options include: All Revisions, Starred, Promoted, Restored, Named, Contains Notes, or All Actions. |
The table displays 10 entries by default. Use the pagination buttons below the table to navigate to additional entries.
Managing Revisions
Click Details to the right of any revision record to view and annotate that revision.

Field | Description |

Module Title | The name of the module. |
Revision ID | The unique identifier for this revision. |
Star | Click the star icon to bookmark this revision for easy access. |
Archive Name | An optional name to assign to this revision. |
Notes | Optional notes visible to others viewing this revision. |
Promotions Out | The environment level where the module was promoted from this revision. |
Promotions In | The environment level the module was promoted to. |
Click Save to apply changes or Cancel to discard them.
Comparing Revisions
The Module Revisions Dashboard can display up to two modules simultaneously for side-by-side comparison.
To compare two revisions:
Click + Add Module and select a second module from the drop-down. Add any additional filters as needed.
Add the older module first and the newer module second; they display left to right.
In the Module One Revisions table, select the first revision. The selected row highlights blue.
In the Module Two Revisions table, select the second revision.
Click Compare Revisions.
Revision Diff View
After clicking Compare Revisions, the Revision Diff page opens.

The top of each column displays:

Revision ID | The unique identifier for this revision. |
User Name | The Creator who saved this revision. |
Last Modified | The date this revision was last edited. |

Added / Deleted / Edited Components | A pie chart showing component changes. Added components appear blue, edited components appear green, and deleted components appear black. |
Components Section

Column | Description |

Change | The type of change. Options include: New Component, Edited Properties, or Deleted Component. |
Component ID | The Property ID of the changed component. |
Component Type | The component type. |
Details | Opens the change details for edited components. This button does not appear for new or deleted components. |
Settings Section

Setting | The name of the setting that changed. |
Old Value | The setting's value before the change. |
New Value | The setting's value after the change. |
Exporting Chart Data
In the Charts tab, each chart widget has a menu button (
) in the top-right corner.
