The Library Elements workspace organizes elements into two folders in the Explorer panel: | Folder | Contents | | --- | --- | | **Modules** | Shared modules available to all applications in the workspace. | | **Data Collections** | Shared data collections available to all applications in the workspace. | Selecting any element opens it in the builder in the Library Elements workspace context. ## Modules Library modules are standalone modules that exist outside any single application. If the data collection is in use by one or more applications, deletion is blocked and an error message displays. | ## Access & Usage The Access and Usage dialog controls which workspaces can use a library element. It opens from two entry points: - **Share to Library** on a workspace module or data collection: opens in share mode, titled **Share to Library**. The element's own workspace is preselected and the dialog is immediately editable. - **Access & Usage** on an existing library element: opens in edit mode, titled **Access and Usage**. The current sharing scope is read-only until the Creator selects **Edit**. Library elements cannot connect to a versioned application, so the dialog never lists one. **Share to Library** therefore does not display on modules or data collections inside a versioned application. An element that was already shared keeps its **Access & Usage** option. ### Sharing Scopes | Scope | Effect | | --- | --- | | **Share to Workspaces and/or Applications** | Shares the element to specific workspaces and connects it to applications in those workspaces. | | **Share to Environment** | Makes the element available to all current and future workspaces. Only Administrators can modify settings after this scope is saved. | In the **Share to Workspaces and/or Applications** scope, two connection levels apply: - **Share To**: The element is shared to the workspace and becomes referenceable through remote execution or importing, but does not display in application lists. - **Used By**: The element is connected to specific applications in the workspace and displays in their lists. ### Unsharing **Unshare from Library** removes the element from the library and localizes it to a single application. This option is available only when the element is connected to no more than one application. When the element is connected to more than one application, the button is disabled. Hovering over the button shows the current connected application count. A confirmation warning displays before unsharing completes. ## Library Elements in the Explorer Panel A shared module or data collection displays a **LIBRARY** badge next to its name in the Applications section of the Explorer panel. The badge identifies shared items at a glance without opening Library Elements. Express View is how your end-user views your application. Express View also lets you preview your applications to test your configuration and view the styling. This is also the view your end-users will see when interacting with your application. After configuring a module, click Preview in the Module Builder to interact with the module in Express View. APIs (application programming interfaces) are a set of protocols and definitions developers use to build and integrate application software. APIs act as the connective tissue between products and services. A place on your operating system that stores recently copied content. The clipboard only stores one item at a time. A Data Collection is any static data referenced by your application. Also known as Unqork Users, or Designer Users; is anyone who is inside the Unqork platform. Scope is a tool that limits an application's access to a user's account. An application can request one or more scopes, this information is then presented to the user in the consent screen, and the access token issued to the application will be limited to the scopes granted.
