# Job Tracker

The Job Tracker monitors the progress of import and export jobs for a collection. Each collection folder in the Explorer panel has a **Job Tracker** sub-folder. Expand it to see current and past jobs. Select a job to open its detail page.

## Job Detail Page

Selecting a job opens its detail page with the following information:

### Header

The header displays the following:

| Field | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **Job ID** | The unique identifier for the job. |
| **Type** | Whether the job is an **Import** or **Export**. |
| **Status** | The current state of the job. For the full list of statuses, see [Job Statuses](/docs/job-tracker#job-statuses). |
| **Initiated on** | The date and time the job was started. |
| **Initiated by** | The Creator who initiated the job. |

### Batches Table

The Batches Table displays the processing progress at the batch level. Each row in the table represents one batch and displays the following:

- Batch number
- Batch status
- A download link for completed export batches

Creators can filter the table by batch status to focus on failed or in-progress batches. The table is paginated.

## Job Statuses

| Status | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **Created** | The job has been created but has not started processing yet. |
| **Queued** | The job is waiting in the processing queue. |
| **In Progress** | The job is actively running. |
| **Completed** | All batches finished successfully. |
| **Partially Completed** | Some batches succeeded and some failed. |
| **Failed** | The job encountered an error and did not complete. |
| **Canceled** | The job was stopped before completion. |

## Actions

While a job is **In Progress**, a menu in the top-right corner of the page provides the following two actions:

- **Refresh**: Fetches the latest job status immediately. The page auto-refreshes every few seconds while a job is active. **Refresh** triggers an update on demand.
- **Stop Job**: Cancels the running job. Jobs in Completed, Partially Completed, Failed, or Canceled states cannot be stopped.

## Downloading Export Files

For completed export jobs, each batch row in the Batches Table includes a download link. Select the link to download that batch's output file.
