Common triggers include module load and submission existence. Use it to auto-fill fields from session data, submission data, or other sources at load time. > **How to read settings tables** > > The tables below describe each configurable option as it displays in the UnqorkAI platform. Values are formatted as follows: `inline code` — a value to type exactly as shown | **Bold** — a value selected from a drop-down, radio button, tab, or choice chip | **ON**/**OFF** — toggle state | ✓ — checkbox checked | ☐ — checkbox unchecked ## General Settings | Setting | Field | Type | Default | Description | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Property ID | `key` | Text input | `init` | The unique identifier for this component instance. | | Canvas Label Text | `label` | Text input | — | Identifies the component on the Module Builder canvas. Does not display to end-users. | ## Actions Settings | Setting | Field | Type | Default | Description | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Trigger Type | `triggerType` | Drop-down | **Manual** | Sets when the component fires. | > | Trigger Type | Description | > | --- | --- | > | **Manual** | Fires only when triggered by another component. | > | **Watch** | Fires when any defined input field changes. | > | **New Submission** | Fires when the module loads without an existing submission ID. | > | **Edit Submission** | Fires when the module loads with an existing submission ID. | > | **Browser Event** | Fires on browser close and displays a browser dialog. | ### Inputs Defines the data sources passed into the initializer. | Column | Field | Type | Description | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Property ID | `id` | Property ID | The source field or data to read from (for example, `currentUser.name`). | | Alias | `alias` | Text input | An alias used to reference this input in the Outputs table (for example, `name`). | | Required | `required` | Toggle | When set to **ON**, this setting marks the input as required for the initializer to execute. | ### Outputs Defines the module fields populated when the initializer fires. | Column | Field | Type | Description | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Property ID | `id` | Property ID | The module field to populate. | | Type | `type` | Drop-down | The type of output operation. See [Output Types Reference](/unqorkai/docs/output-types-reference) for all available types. | | Value | `value` | Text input | The value or formula to assign. Use `=alias` to reference an input alias (for example, `=name`). | In modules using the **Vega (2.0)** runtime, the following additional output types are available in the **Type** drop-down: | Type | Description | | --- | --- | | Vega Execute | Triggers an execution on a target Vega component. | | Vega Operation | Sends a custom JSON operation to a Vega component or module. | | Vega Value | Sets the value of a target Vega component. | ## Advanced Settings | Setting | Field | Type | Default | Description | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Disable Execution | `disabled` | Toggle | OFF | Prevents the component from executing when triggered. | | Set Debounce | `debounceSetting` | Number input | `0` | Sets the delay before executing after being triggered, in milliseconds (ms). | ## Operations Builder This component supports the [Operations Builder](/unqorkai/docs/operations-builder) in Vega modules. When the module or panel runtime is set to **Vega (2.0)**, an **Event Handlers** section displays in the settings panel for configuring event-driven operations. A Property ID is the unique field ID used by Unqork to track and link components in your module. Canvas Label Text indicates the purpose of the corresponding field or component. For non-input components, the Canvas Label Text isn't end-user facing, and only appears in the . End-users, also known as Express Users, are the individuals accessing an application through Express View. In most cases, end-users are the customers using the product. Deteremines how the component triggers. The component fires when the page or called module loads without an existing submission ID. Dashboards and remote execute modules are great uses for this trigger. Enter outputs components and actions you want the component to perform. JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) is an open standard file and data interchange format. Unqork uses JSON for submission (record) data. The Number data type accepts integer or floating point values. The number data type does not use quotes around numerical values. The Vega (v 2.0.0) runtime is the next-generation engine of the UDesigner platform.
