# Handoff Node

The Handoff node transfers the current submission to a different workflow. Use it to chain workflows together or route submissions across workflow boundaries.

## Settings

| Setting | Field | Type | Default | Description |

| Label | `label` | Text input | `handoff-{n}` | A display name for the node. |
| Continue Current Submission | `continueCurrentSubmission` | Toggle | ON | When set to **ON**, this setting carries the current submission data into the target workflow. |
| Choose Workflow to Handoff to | `workflow` | Drop-down | — | The workflow to transfer the submission to. |
| ↳ Choose Node to Start From | `workflowNode` | Drop-down | — | The Start node in the target workflow to begin from. Visible when a workflow is selected. |
