# Workspace Page

Opening a workspace from the [Workspaces Page](https://docs.unqork.io/unqorkai/docs/home) opens it as a tab in the platform. The workspace tab is the starting point for navigating to applications and modules, accessing workspace utilities, and managing workspace settings.

## Accessing a Workspace

To open a workspace, select its row in the [Workspaces Page](https://docs.unqork.io/unqorkai/docs/home) table. Alternatively, use the workspace switcher in the navigation bar to choose from the workspace list.

## Workspace Tab

When a workspace is open and no application is selected, the center canvas displays the workspace empty state. The empty state displays the workspace name, a **+ Create Application** button, and a Build Agent help prompt.

Selecting **+ Create Application** opens the [Creating Applications](https://docs.unqork.io/unqorkai/docs/create-application) form.

## Explorer Panel

The **Explorer** panel on the right side of the platform displays the contents of the workspace. In Unqork an application is a program used to perform specific tasks. An application can be one of two types: workflow or module.

Also known as Unqork Users, or Designer Users; is anyone who is inside the Unqork platform.
