Use this tool to import submissions from a file, update a single submission, update multiple submissions in bulk, or create test submissions. Field values, data types, and submission owners can all be updated. > Creators must have the **Administrator** Environment Role to access this tool. To locate a schema module, select it from the **Choose Schema** drop-down. If you know the module ID, enter it directly instead of scrolling through the drop-down. The module must have a `schema` tag to appear in the list. ![The Flexible Data Manager dashboard showing the Choose Schema drop-down and the four available actions.](https://cdn.us.document360.io/15548f06-2fba-434c-b0c1-5df88317dbd7/Images/Documentation/api_upload_20261013_153537_e76564bf449c477e8187d77851b095c8.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-08T10%3A17%3A56Z&se=2026-11-08T11%3A17%3A56Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=DM%2FrARstTwhlM6%2FW3idbu7l7BpYu5Q3dCXN3VgehHCc%3D) After selecting a schema module, four actions appear: - **Import Submissions from File** - **Update Single Submission** - **Update Bulk Submissions** - **Create Bulk Submissions** ## Import Submissions from File Imports submission data from a local file. 1.
