The first page collects the application name, , type, and description. The second page sets workspace assignment, stylesheet, versioning, revisions, and infrastructure module assignments. ## Opening the Dialog To open the Create Application dialog, use either of the following: - From the [Workspace Page](/unqorkai/docs/workspace-page): click **+ Create Application** in the workspace canvas. - From the [Explorer panel](/unqorkai/docs/explorer-overview): hover over the **Applications** folder, click the ![EllipsisVertical](https://cdn.us.document360.io/15548f06-2fba-434c-b0c1-5df88317dbd7/Images/Documentation/api_upload_20261021_182038_db17d3e8b8444c55a88cb6204db088f8.svg?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-08T10%3A17%3A53Z&se=2026-11-08T11%3A17%3A53Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=PC6FKIMT5jrgTCpeCN3G%2BRXAhklIl9KaedCQdY%2F2NEA%3D) (**ellipsis**), then select **+ Create Application**. When opened from a workspace, that workspace is pre-selected in the dialog. ## Application Details ![[docs-interactive-image:{"surface":"applications/create-details"}] Create Application dialog on the Application Details page with Application Name, Application Path, Application Type, and Description fields](https://cdn.us.document360.io/15548f06-2fba-434c-b0c1-5df88317dbd7/Images/Documentation/api_upload_20261021_182038_340f6570991740ea9c25fa41ce09de08.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-08T10%3A17%3A53Z&se=2026-11-08T11%3A17%3A53Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=PC6FKIMT5jrgTCpeCN3G%2BRXAhklIl9KaedCQdY%2F2NEA%3D) ### Template When creating from a Marketplace template, the template name displays as a read-only row at the top of the dialog. The **Application Type** field and infrastructure module fields are hidden because the template determines those values. ### Application Name The **Application Name** field sets the display name for the application. Required. ### Application Path The **Application Path** field sets the URL path used to access the application. The path is automatically generated from the Application Name as it is entered and can be edited manually. Required. ### Application Type The **Application Type** drop-down sets whether the application uses a module-based or workflow-based architecture. Options: **Module** or **Workflow**. Required. Hidden when creating from a template. ### Description The **Description** field accepts an optional text description of the application's purpose. ## Advanced Settings Select **Advanced Settings** to configure workspace assignment, stylesheet, revisions, versioning, and infrastructure modules. ![[docs-interactive-image:{"surface":"applications/create-advanced"}] Create Application dialog on the Advanced Settings page with Submission Revisions, Application Versioning (where available), Stylesheet, and infrastructure module fields](https://cdn.us.document360.io/15548f06-2fba-434c-b0c1-5df88317dbd7/Images/Documentation/api_upload_20261021_182038_f8caa38a741c4c79a5a3231e0002f455.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-08T10%3A17%3A53Z&se=2026-11-08T11%3A17%3A53Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=PC6FKIMT5jrgTCpeCN3G%2BRXAhklIl9KaedCQdY%2F2NEA%3D) ### Workspace The **Workspace** drop-down selects the workspace that will contain the new application. Pre-selected and hidden when the dialog opens from a workspace context. ### Revisions The **Revisions** toggle enables version history for the application's file storage. When set to **ON**, the **WORM Storage** option becomes available. ### Application Versioning The **Enable Application Versioning** toggle turns on branch-based versioning for the application. The toggle is disabled when the **Application Type** is set to **Workflow** or when any infrastructure module is assigned. The toggle is available only in environments where application versioning is activated. See [Application Versioning](/unqorkai/docs/application-versioning-overview) for details. ### Stylesheet The **Stylesheet** drop-down applies a stylesheet to the application. Select **None** to create the application without a stylesheet. ### Infrastructure Modules The **Infrastructure Modules** section is for assigning shared modules that provide structural elements across the application. Hidden when creating from a template. | Field | Description | | --- | --- | | **Header Module** | The module to display as the application's header. | | **Footer Module** | The module to display as the application's footer. | | **Login Module** | The module to handle end-user login. | | **Logout Module** | The module to handle end-user logout. | The available module options are populated from the selected workspace. Changing the **Workspace** field resets all infrastructure module selections. Assigning any infrastructure module disables Application Versioning. ## After Creation After the application is created: - **Non-versioned applications**: The entrypoint module opens in the Module Builder and the application is added to the Explorer panel. - **Versioned applications**: A branch creation prompt displays in the dialog. Enter a name in the **First branch name** field and select **Create branch**, or select **Skip for now** to proceed without a branch. The application opens in the Module Builder after this step completes. --- **Changelog** | Date | Change | | --- | --- | | 2026-10-20 | Clarified that the versioning toggle is available only in environments where application versioning is activated.
